A Boutique Winery with a Soul
Long Dog Wines isn’t built on big production or fast trends. It began with a muddy pawprint on a cellar floor, a stubborn vineyard breeze, and a belief in doing things differently, slowly, honestly, and always by hand. Tucked beneath the Simonsberg mountain, our small winery is a sanctuary, for nature, for animals, and for those who believe great wine begins with deep roots.

Why ‘Long Dog’?
Our name honours the long-bodied rescue dogs who’ve walked this journey with us from the start, loyal, curious, and full of spirit. We’re more than dog lovers we’re a working sanctuary. Our vineyard is also a haven where rescued dogs find safety, sunshine, and soft places to nap while we work. Their presence reminds us to lead with kindness, stay curious, and make space for joy.
